CUPROTEX 1457 – POWDERED FLUX FOR BRASS AND COPPER
Cuprotex 1457 flux is used for capping and purification when melting brass alloys into ingots or chips in crucible or electric induction furnaces. The product is also widely used as a purifier and deslagger in shell and brass die-casting foundries. The powdery slag created by the product drastically reduces melting losses, offering a great advantage for this type of alloys.
The Cuprotex 1457 flow has a very active action that prevents the metal from absorbing hydrogen and oxygen. The use of the product guarantees the obtaining of slag with low metal content.
