METALCOTE 35 – SEMI-INSULATING COATING

Metalcote 35 is a coating made of graphite and insulating compounds suitable for protecting the shape of the shell mold and to facilitate the operations of detaching the castings.

It also facilitates the sliding of the metal. It has excellent resistance to abrasion and consequently guarantees a long life on the mould. It finds ideal use when used in the production of large-scale castings.

The product is sensitive to frost. Store at a temperature above 5°C and close the package after each withdrawal. It is possible that some products containing mineral ingredients may tend to precipitate during storage. This phenomenon is absolutely normal due to the specific density of the minerals themselves. It is important to mix the product carefully before use. If stored properly the product has a shelf life exceeding 12 months.
