NAPAL 700 R – MODIFYING FLUX IN TABLET
Napal 700 R is a modifying flux in tablet form used to add the necessary quantity of Sodium.
The modification treatment changes the structure of the silicon in the alloy and allows the mechanical characteristics of the castings to be increased.
The structure of silicon changes from coarse and angular, with acicular crystals, to fine, with interconnected, rounded and perfectly distributed fibrous particles in the aluminum matrix.
The main advantage is the improvement of the mechanical characteristics of tensile strength and elongation. The product is easy to use and is safe for the operator.
