OXIBRON STANDARD – FINE CRYSTALLINE POWDER FOR TIN BRONZES
The Oxibron Standard Foundry Flux, supplied in powder form, creates an oxidising protective layer on the metal bath capable of preventing the absorption of harmful elements such as hydrogen, oxygen and combustion gases: highly harmful elements for these alloys as the hydrogen diffuses into the liquid metal and the Oxygen generates oxides with alloy compounds.
The Oxibron Standard flux is suitable and recommended for covering and protecting Copper-Tin and Copper-Nickel alloys such as Nickel bronzes.
The product can also be used, as an alternative to Oxibron 10, for the treatment of tin bronzes and gunmetal bronzes.
